Michelle has more than ten years experience in Property Law work and has an excellent understanding of all aspects of conveyancing, including work involving Torrens Title, Strata Title and Old System conveyancing, subdivision and multistorey developments and advising on mortgages.
Michelle holds a Certificate IV in Legal Administration in 2002
Current Practice
Her recent work has included:
- Acquisition by a State Government Department of a site for $25m that was both politically and time sensitive. Transaction completed in 3 days.
- Completion of a very complex memorandum of understanding between a State Government Department and a local Government authority relating to the transfer of land with complex restrictions on the future use and development of the land.
- Completion of a multimillion dollar financing of a major development site involving complex documentation to secure the debt including corporate and personal guarantees and company charges.
- Acting for a corporate liquidator in relation to the subdivision and sale of land in the Gosford region which was partly residential partly industrial and partly environmentally sensitive wetlands which involved lengthy negotiations with multiple parties.
- Standard sale and purchase transactions of residential, commercial and industrial properties often involving examination of GST liabilities.
- Intra family property transactions.
