Enza Iannella


Professional Background

Enza is a graduate of the University of Western Sydney and currently holds both a Bachelor of Business, Accounting (B.Bus) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). Enza joined our firm in 2005 as an undergraduate law student and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court in early 2007.

 
Current Practice
Enza has worked as part of the Dispute Resolution and Litigation team since joining the firm in 2005. She has actively been involved in assisting David Bray with a number of workplace relations law issues. She has particular expertise in the Federal Government’s WorkChoices legislation and in the changes following the 2007 Federal election.
 
Her recent work has included:
  • Preparing agreements between independent contractors and a large Sydney based transport company;
  • Advising a manufacturing company on the contents and enforceability of their employment instruments including employee handbooks, registered and unregistered employment agreements;
  • Assistance in preparing senior executive contracts of employment;
  • Assisting with defending a transgender discrimination complaint against a female fitness centre;
  • Assistance in providing Pro Bono legal advice relating to a disability discrimination complaint between an employer and employee;
  • Advising a systems company on their obligations relating to implementing employee surveillance under the Workplace Surveillance Act 2005; and
  • Pursuing remedies in the Industrial Relations Commission for a franchise operator.
