Director, Dispute Resolution
Geoff is Chairman of Champion Legal and is based in our Parramatta office. He has over 40 years’ experience as a commercial lawyer and litigator.
He has acted in disputes involving corporate law, partnerships, trade practices, building and construction law, employment law, professional negligence, local government planning and environment, product liability, guarantees, trusts and estates, and valuation. He also provides advice to boards and management teams on all aspects of the Corporations Act, including: constitutions, board and committee roles and processes, director duties, employee incentive schemes, conflicts and disclosure.
He has conducted matters in the High Court, Supreme Court, Federal, District and Local Courts together with a variety of Tribunals.
Geoff has recently been appointed Emeritus Member of the College of Law.
He is a former Deputy Chancellor of the University of Western Sydney and is still very actively involved in the strategic direction of the University. He currently chairs The Whitlam Institute (research) and was the funding Chairman of the University’s major commercial entity, UWS Connect. He also was founding Chairman of Television Sydney. He remains a Director of both UWS Connect and Television Sydney, and was recently appointed an Emeritus Member of The College of Law.
