Professional Background
Louise has recently joined Champion Legal in the role of Summer Clerk. Louise is in her final year of a Bachelor of Arts in Communications (Social Inquiry) and Bachelor of Laws at the University of Technology, Sydney. As part of her law studies, Louise has completed elective subjects in Family Law and Children’s Law and has a keen interest in working in these areas.
Before joining Champion Legal, Louise worked in a community legal centre, providing administrative support to solicitors specialising in copyright.
Current Practice
Louise provides assistance to the firm’s solicitors in the areas of Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Commercial and Corporate Law, Employment Law and Family Law.
Her recent work has included:
- Preparing applications for caveats
- Research on the Fair Work Act 2009 with a particular focus on Modern Awards
Assisting in the drafting of Wills, Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardianships - Analysis of business contracts
- Assisting with the preparation of affidavits
