About the Champion Legal Summer Clerkship

We aim, as best we can, to maximise your exposure to the different practice areas serviced by Champion Legal. We endeavor to align the particular placements with workload and availability of our professional staff. As a result the exact schedule is not set until just prior to commencement and is subject to change.

As a paid position, there will be work to do. Under the guidance of our professional staff, summer clerks will participate in the execution of legal tasks, such as assisting with drafting of documents and correspondence, conducting legal research and formulating advices and where possible, attending Court at hearings.

After a short period of induction, our summer clerks will be working in the practice areas as set out in the Table at the bottom of this page.

It is also anticipated our Clerks will spend some time with Champion Financial, our related financial services entity. There may be other extra-curricular activities conducted during the course of the summer clerkship in which the Clerks will be encouraged to participate.
