Professional background
Suzanne is admitted as a Solicitor in New South Wales. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Graduate) and a Bachelor of Science (Architecture).
Suzanne was a member of the inaugural Steering Committee for ConnectionX and served on the Committee from 2001 to 2005. ConnectionX, an initiative of the Western Sydney Business Connection, provides networking, advocacy and development to young business professionals aged 25 to 40. Suzanne has been a Director and Board member of Arlberg Ski Club Limited since 2002.
Before studying law, Suzanne worked in the five star hospitality business and the retail and courier industries.
Current Practice
Suzanne works in the commercial litigation and dispute resolution group.
Her recent work has included:
- Successfully conducting a professional negligence claim against a client’s former solicitors;
- Successfully undertaking an action in the Darwin Supreme Court regarding a damages claim made against a corporate client involving a contract dispute and trade practices and negligence claims.
- Undertaking an infringement of trademark and copyright action on behalf of a major Australian clothing company;
- Advising a major Sydney hospital on a number of disputes involving large bequests and, in most cases negotiating settlements.
