Champion Legal will offer up to three students in their penultimate year of study a chance to join our team as Summer Clerks for 2011. Our program offers students the chance to gain valuable experience working across a diverse range of practice areas as well as exposure to most aspects of legal practice.
We have offices in Sydney and Parramatta. The summer clerkship is based in Parramatta, the heart of one of the fastest growing legal and economic sectors in Australia. The Summer Clerkship scheme is part of our program to guarantee the right people are on board to ensure our continued growth and success.
We ensure our summer clerks are active in the life of our firm. Day to day professional work will include research, attendance at client conferences and other hands-on assistance to our Solicitors with current client matters. There will also be the chance to participate in social, professional development and other professional activities of the firm.
Our summer clerks will rotate through our different areas of practice, exposing them to varied matters (both contentious and non-contentious) including corporate and commercial advisory, workplace relations, intellectual property, real property and finance, commercial and general litigation, family law, and wills, probate and estate litigation.

The program consists of employment for a fixed term from 10 January 2011 until 25 February 2011 coinciding with University summer vacation.
