The Championing Life collection reflects our belief that greatness is defined by how you show up each day. Inspired by Michael Klim’s experience with CIDP, each piece connects product to purpose, with proceeds supporting education, advocacy and research.
THE MAN BEHIND THE MISSION
Michael Klim is an Olympic gold medallist and one of Australia’s most recognised swimmers. After his career, a CIDP diagnosis reshaped his daily life, replacing performance with persistence. He and his fiancée Michelle Owen founded the Klim Foundation to raise awareness, fund research and support others living with the condition. His journey drives this collaboration.
UNDERSTANDING CIDP
A chronic condition affecting thousands of Australians, many of them invisibly.
CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy) is a condition affecting the peripheral nervous system, the network of nerves that controls movement,
sensation and strength throughout the body. In people living with CIDP, the immune system attacks the protective coating around these nerves, disrupting signals between the brain and the body. Symptoms vary but can include muscle weakness, fatigue, difficulty with balance, pain and a loss of strength in the hands and limbs. Because many of these symptoms aren’t visible to others, CIDP is often misunderstood and underdiagnosed.
